If you’re anything like me and you know an iPhone or iPad and your kids seems to have taken it over, you will be happy to know there are some great apps just for kids. Although it doesn’t get your tablet or phone back you can be confident that they are using a kid friendly app. I really like the interactive apps for children. Apps like the interactive songbook Old MacDonald Had A Farm iOS app by Bacciz. We all know and love the childhood song Old MacDonald and this interactive app makes it so much fun and brings it to life in a whole new way. My kids loved playing with all the animals and finding the animations within the pages and singing along for hours of fun.
When you first open the app there is a page that you can enter the app or click on an icon to learn more about the other apps from Bacciz. When you start the story each animal has their own section. You can stay on a section and have it repeat or skip over it to a section (animal) you like more. First up is the chickens and on the page there are eggs that you can touch, which hatch or click on a chicken to watch it lay an egg. Next was the cows and you can click on the cow to make it moo or click on the farmer to see him milking the cow. On the ducks page you can see the ducks fly, a frog jump in the pond and more. There’s so much fun things for the kids to do and the whole book is like a sing a long so they can see the words as sing with the book. Check out this video to learn more.
