November 20th – I am thankful for school. LOL I know odd huh, well since Sandy hit the east coast the kids school schedule has been out of wack. In the past three weeks (15 school days) they have been in school for 4.5 days. I love my kids but the time out of school has messed up nap schedules for the toddler monster and both Kay and Trey. The days they have school they nap during the day and when they do have school they go to sleep right after school and mess with their bedtimes. The toddler monster doesn’t get his nap when they are home and crashes early evening so he wakes up at night time. I am very thankful for the schedules schools helps us keep. Its so hard for kids to adjust but we are learning.
November 21st – I am thankful for short work weeks. This means that hubby doesn’t have to do his usual hour plus commute to work. I’m also thankful that we have food on our table for Thanksgiving because I know so many people will be without. I am thankful that we are able to donate and share with others during the holiday season.
