I’m Going to the Sweetest Place on Earth

Usually I don’t miss the emails with the subject line “YOU’RE INVITED”, I don’t get them often but when I do I usually forget everything else in my inbox.  Don’t get me wrong though lots of my emails with that subject line is often an invite to blog about something for some company that’s just looking for free promotion.  This email eluded me though and thankfully the rep circled back a few days later with the invite of a lifetime.  I was invited to the Sweetest Place on Earth – Hershey PA.

I’ll be heading to Hershey, PA from April 10th to April 12th for the first ever Sweet Welcome Blogger Event.  A team of seven area bloggers are heading to Hershey to learn all about the park, the hotel and so much more.  I’ve been to Hersheypark a few times but I’m excited about learning about the new ride – Laff Trakk (the 13th roller coaster opening this summer).

 

Another great highlight of the trip is where we will be staying for the weekend.  At The Hotel Hershey.  I’ve never stayed here before so I am very excited.  At the hotel we also get to tour The Spa at The Hotel Hershey.  Follow @Chocolate_Spa for updates.  We’ll also get to sample some of the restaurants at the hotel as well.

The adventures at Hersheypark include lunch, free time to explore the park on our own and Zoo America After Hours.  One of my favorite things about Hersheypark is the Zoo so I can’t wait to visit after hours.  We will finish our weekend at the Hersheypark Camping Resort and touring the Hershey Theatre.  I can’t wait to share all the things we learn while on the trip and after our trip as well.  Be sure to follow our hashtags #HersheyPA, #HotelHershey, #SweetestEats, #HersheyPark.  These hashtags will give a peek into what we’re doing and then you can check back later this month for posts on my blog about the trip.
