Homemade Without the Work with Jen & Joe’s Cookie Dough
A few weeks ago I was treated to some delicious cookies from Jen & Joe’s Cookie Dough for review on my blog. I love baking and as a baker I have to say that this is by far the best frozen cookie dough that I’ve ever experienced in my entire lifetime. I didn’t really realize how much I was missing out on as far as frozen cookie dough goes because I usually buy the stuff in the supermarket or the ones you get from school fundraiser sales. I was missing out on a whole lot of awesomeness by not checking around to see if I could find something that would be homemade without the work. I will say I still love baking my own cookies from scratch but if I ever plan to send some goodies to someone this is definitely the route I plan to take. Jen & Joe’s Cookie Dough is:
- Gourmet homestyle cookie dough.
- Frozen into individual servings and ready to bake anytime.
- Always real eggs and butter.
- Never any artificial colors, flavors, additives, or preservatives.
I received six boxes of cookie dough to try and share about on my blog. It wasn’t hard to find a place to start. I started with the White ChocolateWasabi because of the name mainly. With a name like that I of course wanted to know what it would be like.
I really enjoyed this cookie. I couldn’t taste the wasabi at all, it was perfect. I love that it was rolled in sugar. I baked mine for about 9 minutes and I had just the right cookie. I got my sister to try these with me as well. Some of my other family were afraid to try it.
The Oatmeal Toffee was a gift to my sister for her birthday. I didn’t make any cake and I knew she would love these. She said her family really enjoyed them. They were gone within hours of baking. She gave them five stars.
I was excited about trying the chocolate spice because I am such a huge fan of chocolate but I didn’t like this cookie much at all. I think it was the spice. If there wasn’t any spice it would have been great for me. My kids however really enjoyed them.
It was when I baked these chocolate chip cookies that I realized how inferior the frozen ones I usually buy from the big brands really are. Those cookies have nothing on these delicious cookies. You can really tell that these cookies are made with quality ingredients and it’s about making a product customers will love.
These Lemon Drop cookies are the only ones left and that’s because I’ve been saving them for a special treat for my husband. I am sure they taste just as delicious as the other cookies and when I bake them I’ll be sure to update the post and share with you about them.
I love Snickerdoodle cookies and I loved these. They were nice and soft and had just the right amount of cinnamon and sugar on them. Perfect in my opinion. I really enjoyed trying the cookies from Jen & Joe’s because they are so delicious and they really do use real ingredients so they are like homemade. Hey if you’re not a baker try these and see if anyone can tell if it’s frozen cookie dough.
Connect with Jen & Joe’s on Facebook and Twitter. You can order the cookie dough directly from Jen & Joe’s Store or find it at Whole Foods, Weis or check their location checker for a store near you.
