Visit Irving in Fall for Football Season

Irving is convenient to both Dallas and Forth Worth, and the city offers lots of free or low-cost attractions to draw visitors. The National Scouting Museum is a great family attraction along with Fritz Park Petting Farm. History buffs must add Ruth Paine House Museum for an eerie look into Lee Harvey Oswald’s world. Bird watchers travel to McAllen, Texas, to visit Quinta Mazatlan to see different species of birds. The site is one of nine locations of the World Birding Center along the Rio Grande Valley. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve scratched the surface of all that Texas has to offer, even in the cities of Fredericksburg, Round Rock, Irving, McAllen, and Amarillo. What I’ve shared is just a small taste of the big things you can do in Texas.
