Hard Rock Cafe World Burger Tour Review
A few weeks ago my family and I visited Hard Rock Cafe to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Our main reason for visiting was to try a burger from the limited World Burger Tour menu. I shared about all the burgers that’s available on the tour menu at Hard Rock Cafe through June 30th on my blog, and now we were going to give them a try.
“The information, gift card, and gift pack giveaway have been provided to me by Hard Rock International.”
We decided to visit during lunch, since the crowds would be easier to handle with our kids. We arrived right around noon and settled into our booth for lunch. Shortly after arriving our server stopped by the table to take out drink orders. We decided to get the kids lunch first since they are always hungry before hubby and I.
Once we had our menus in hand I realized that the burgers from the tour were not all on the menu. At the time we were visiting they were offering the Greek Burger, Tango Salsa Burger, and the Aloha Burger. I had my mind set on Tandoori Chicken Burger. After looking over the menu my husband decided on the Tango Salsa Burger and I ended up with another of Hard Rock’s Legendary Burgers for lunch.
While waiting for our food to arrive the manager came over to our table to talk to us about some of the artist pieces on the wall of the restaurant. When he mentioned Prince I had to get a photograph for my memory books. Hubby isn’t great with the camera so it’s somewhat blurry, but it was awesome to see it up close. It made me feel even more connected to the singer, it was the most popular piece there at the time.
The kids food was the first to arrive. I love the plates they use at Hard Rock Cafe for serving kids. It’s a plastic guitar shaped plates with two spaces for sauce. My oldest got a cheeseburger, and our youngest son ended up with chicken fingers and fries. The kids meals at Hard Rock Cafe is very affordable and it includes a nice coloring book kids can take home with them at the end of the meal.
Since I didn’t get a burger from the tour I upgraded my fries to Poutine Fries. It was absolutely delicious. I can’t believe that melted cheese and gravy with fries would be so delicious, but it was so good. I can’t wait to have some again. It is going on my food list to try in different places because I would love to try some with cheddar cheese. My burger was big enough to feed two people. It was cooked to perfection, and very filling.
Hubby’s burger arrived and I have to admit it looked really good. The egg was a bit runny for me but he couldn’t wait to take a bite out of the burger.
I don’t think my husband had any words to share while eating this burger, except to say eeemmmm. He took his time eating the burger and I have to say it was probably the first time he’d even gotten full in a while from eating a burger. He barely touched his fries. He didn’t have a single complaint, except to say it was a little messy. It was a birthday lunch for the books.
