Halloween is right around the corner and my kids are starting to get excited.  This time of year means that some of their favorite movies, television shows and specials are on the air again.  For me that would be Hocus Pocus.  The kids started to love it last year so we watched it quite a few times.  The kids also loves the Charlie Brown Halloween special.  We received a few Halloween movies to review and of course I wanted to share our favorites with you.

Littlest Pet Shop: Halloween Fest is available from Shout Factory Kids on DVD now.  Fans of the show can follow along with Blythe and pets as they celebrate Halloween.  Plus the DVD also includes a bonus Pumpkin Carving Stencil for parents and kits to create a very cool Halloween craft.  My daughter just loves Littlest Pet Shop, especially the fashion concepts Blythe creates for the pets so she was excited to see what the would do for Halloween.  LPS Halloween Fest retails for $9.99 and you can purchase it from the Shout Factory Kids website.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Mickey’s Monster Musical is perfect for younger children.  My toddler and his cousin loves this show.  The theme music and all the characters are entertaining for them.  Mickey’s Monster Musical hit stores on September 8th and the DVD included a free mini trick or treat sack for the little ones to use for Halloween.  Episodes include  Mickey’s Monster Musical – Part 1 & 2, Mickey’s Pirate Adventure – Part 1 &2, and Mickey’s Farm Fun Fair.  My son’s favorite was the Monster Musical.  This is a great addition to your library to get young kids ready for Halloween.  It’s not scary at all and it includes all their favorites of Mickey and Friends.  You can purchase Mickey’s Monster Musical online and in stores everywhere.

Transformers Robots in Disguise isn’t a Halloween themed movies but the Transformers are masters at disguise so I had to include their upcoming release from Shout Factory Kids in partnership with Cartoon Network.  The Transformers saga begins a new chapter as BUMBLEBEE and a team of AUTOBOT action heroes embark on a new mission to protect and save Earth from a new faction of Decepticons.  I’m sure there will be kids dressed as their favorite Transformer for Halloween.  Our favorite is always Bumblebee so we’re excited for this upcoming release.  You can pre-order it now on Walmart’s website or grab it once it hits stores.
