Be My Guest Inside Our Williams Sonoma Beauty and the Beast Experience
I love visiting stores like Williams-Sonoma. It’s a dream for me because I love baking. They always carry a wide variety of specialty products for home chefs and home bakers like me. During the #BeOurGuestEvent we received an extra special invite from Williams-Sonoma to attend a special BEAUTY AND THE BEAST themed blogger event where we snacked on Soup Du Jour, Meat Ragu, Cheese Soufflé, attended a cooking demonstration, learned how to make paper roses and more!
We took a quick stroll from the hotel where the press event was held for Beauty and the Beast, to the Williams Sonoma Beverly Hills location. I quickly snapped a photo of the sign outside listing their upcoming events.
We walked around the store a bit before the event offically started. There were a few introductions while the store manager showed us the lovely Le Creuset Beauty and the Beast Soup Pot.
During the presentation one of the chefs passed around this delicious Strawberry and Rose Petal Lemonade to wet our palettes before starting the rest of the event.
After introductions the chef started to talk to us about the delicious Beauty and the Beast inspired dishes she created for our event. She showcased how awesome the Le Creuset pot was for cooking on the stove top, as well as in the oven.
Personally I only tried the Cheese Soufflé due to food allergies, however all the other ladies loved the dishes that were served. We even received recipe cards for us to recreate the meals on our own. I’ll be making the meat ragu for sure.
If you’re interested in the limited edition Le Creuset Beauty and the Beast Soup Pot, it’s available for purchase exclusively from Williams Sonoma online for $280. It’s a beautiful pot to add to any kitchen collection.
Following the cooking demestration we participated in a #LetsMakeFlowers class with Sara Kim of HandmadeBySaraKim. Sara is a local small business owner that creates handmade pieces for weddings and other special events.
I’m not crafty at all, so I picked the table where Sara was working from so I could ask her as many questions and I wanted. She was amazing with our entire group of twenty-five. She took her time to walk around all the tables and help each of us with our flowers. She answered all the questions I asked about the way my flower looked and if I was doing it the right way.
This is an example of one of the flowers that Sara made and showcased in the store during our event. Our flowers were not as intricate as this one, but it was still a nice rose.
I did my best with my rose, I was proud of how it turned out. My kids loved it when I brought it home. If you’re looking for a creative way to bond with your friends and you live in the SoCal area be sure to check out HandmadeBySaraKim.
