Golden Shoes DVD Review Plus Giveaway
Finding good entertainment options for children can be very hard. I like to make sure that whatever my kids are watching is safe and I can trust that it will be entertaining and suited for their age. That’s why I like Dove-Family-approved movies. They let parents like me know what movies are family oriented and suited for my children. Anchor Bay Entertainment recently released Golden Shoes on DVD and Digital.
Golden Shoes was a great movie for my nephew. He’s in middle school with hopes of playing sports so this was right up his alley. The movie had a great cast including Montel Williams, Vivica Fox and John Rhys-Davies. The whole plot of the movie was very inspirational and pushed the message of having faith and believing in yourself. I liked this message because it helps my nephew understand that hard work is just part of the equation. This movie reminded me of other sporting movies with similar plots, so I knew the family would enjoy it. Both of my nephews really liked it a lot. Dove Family approves this movie for children 12 and over.
This is a great family movie that everyone can enjoy together. With the holidays approaching this could be a great stocking stuffer or a movie night.
About Golden Shoes:
As long as he could remember, eight-year-old Christian Larou (Christian Koza) dreamed of being a great soccer player like his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo. When his father is deployed to Afghanistan and his mother is hospitalized, he pours himself into the game he loves. With the help of some very special shoes, can Christian lead his team to the championship, inspire an entire nation, and bring his family together again?
