GFreely Review

January 31, 2013 By Nickida

I love subscriptions box services.  They are small boxes of awesome surprises that arrive monthly or how ever often you choose.  They are are always fun to explore and a great way to try a new product without spending a lot of money or paying full price up front. That way if you like something you can buy more and if you don’t well you didn’t spend a lot of money for it and you don’t have a full size product that could go to waste.  I recently got the chance to try gfreely subscription box service and I was impressed.

Gfreely box

The box arrived packed with lots of gluten free goodies for me to try.  I was excited about seeing what my family would think about the items in the book.

As you can see there was a lot of stuff in the one box so it’s totally worth the price.  To subscribe it costs $19 a month plus $5.95 shipping and handling.  It’s no commitment and you can go month to month.  Here’s a look at the contents.

I was a little apprehensive about trying some of these because I wasn’t sure if it would taste different or not.  Although I don’t follow a gluten free diet I am looking into healthier and tasty options for my family.  The first thing I tried of course was the triple chocolate mint cookies.  I think the kids like this more than I did.  They were a bit grainy to me but after a few bites I got use to it and we enjoyed them.  We snacked on the noodles like chips.  They were crunchy and just right for snacking.  I am sure they would work on salads as well.  I have to say I hogged both the Just Fruit Bars.  I ate them as late night snacks.  The cowboy chili was a healthy alternative to regular chili and it worked great with windy days.

Overall I think this is a great service to explore, especially if you are exploring gluten free diets and looking for products to add.  You get a lot of value for your money and try some great products as well.
