Free Creativity Can Challenge at Severna Park and Annapolis Toy Store

Calling all Maryland families if you live in the Severna Park and Annapolis area then I have a fun, free event to share that will help your kids challenge their own creativity. Research shows that kids’ test scores for creativity are failing. So, Creativity for Kids has created a movement to teach kids that making things can be fun. The kids are given a can filled with different supplies (and no instructions), and then they can create anything they want.

The Creativity Can was created by two mothers and they have given away 80,000 cans nationwide to spark kids creativity and bring awareness to parents about the importance of creativity at home.

Personally I love the idea of just giving my kids some supplies and seeing just what they can come up with.  It sparks their creative juices and get them thinking about invention.  This is a great activity for kids ages four and older.  If you don’t have any plans and you’re looking for something fun to do then be sure to check it out.  The dates, times and locations are below.
