Fredrick Bonefish Gets Decor Update and New Fall Menu

My husband is a huge fan of dining out, me on the other hand not so much.  With six people dining out can be very challenging at times, but when we got invited to head to Bonefish restaurant in Fredrick, Maryland to check out their new renovations and see what they had on the menu we couldn’t resist.  The location in Fredrick is about an hour from our house, it’s one of the first locations in Maryland to get the new update to mirror the newly built location that’s close to where we live.  We arrived and were quickly seated.  The manager was walking around talking to guests, he stopped by our table and offered to take our family’s photo and shared some information with us about the new look.

The whole family was excited about enjoying the afternoon out and having a great early dinner.  We settled in and went over the menu trying to figure out what we were going to order.  We always start with Bang Bang Shrimp when we go to Bonefish Grill.  After ordering drinks the server returned with two loaves of bread, then our drinks.

We ordered the kids meals first since we didn’t want them waiting for ours to be prepared.  We find it easier this way when dining with the kids and the restaurant had no problems with us ordering that way.  Hubby and I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp while we waited for our food to arrive.

If you’ve never had the Bang Bang Shrimp from Bonefish then you’ve been missing out.  It’s a nice size portion for an appetizer as well.  My husband an I split it all the time.  The shrimp are lightly battered and tossed in a creamy spicy sauce on top a bed of fresh lettuce.  Just writing about it makes me wish I had a portion right now.

My daughter loves Shrimp so she ordered the fried shrimp kids meal.  I was surprised at how many shrimp she received with her meal.

The boys ordered the usual Chicken Strips and Fries.  Our infant just had a side order of fries.  I have to admit these are probably the best fries I’ve had in a while.  They were delicious, I wanted to order my own side order after trying some of my son’s fries.

There were so many great choices on the menu and my husband and I both choose fish.  I went with a grilled Salmon with a side of Broccoli and Jasmine Rice.  Bonefish offers the choice of wild caught salmon or farm raised salmon.  My early dinner was simply delicious.  The Broccoli had a light buttery sauce with a great seasoning.  I was surprised I couldn’t eat the whole portion of my Salmon.

My husband when with the crab stuffed Tilapia with a side of green beans and scalloped potatoes for his meal.  The string beans were really good, so good that our infant ate almost half of his father’s portion.  We had a great afternoon at Bonefish Grill.  If you live in the Fredrick, MD area be sure to check out the new renovations and the fall menu that includes seasonal eats.  If you don’t live near this location visit your local Bonefish for special promotions like $6 Bang Bang Shrimp on Wednesdays, the three courses for $14 on Tuesdays and other local specials.
