Five Things to do in Las Vegas and how to Recreate Memories at Home
Next year my sister and I are planning a trip to Las Vegas to celebrate our birthdays. We’ve talked about it for years but we’re finally making all our plans to make it happen. We are looking for fun things for adults to do while in Vegas since we are both going to be kid free. When thinking of Vegas, a few things come to mind, including food, shopping, and of course casinos.
I’ve already started learning and preparing for our best night. After doing a little research I’ve found out that some online casino sites let you practice for free while learning the rules before going in a real one or play online with real money from the comfort of your home.
My sister and I have searched all over to find the things we were planning to do when we visit, and we’re planning activities we can only do in Vegas. Here’s my list of five things to do in Las Vegas and how to recreate the memories at home.
Take a Helicopter Ride
There are a lot of helicopter tour companies offering various options in the Las Vegas area. You can take a tour of the Grand Canyon, get a nighttime tour of the city, Hoover Dam, and more. Tours vary in prices based on the options you choose. Save by comparing prices on sites like Groupon and other local deal sites. Recreate the memories at home by taking photographs and adding them to a digital photo frame.
See Your Favorite Artist in Concert
Celine Dion is one of my favorite music artist of all time. She’s been performing in Vegas for a while. One of the added benefits of visit the city is being able to see artists like Celine and Brittany perform. There are several artists in residence at different hotels with amazing shows. Pick your favorite and recreate the memories at home by scrapbooking the mementos from the night, like your ticket stub, receipts, photographs, and more.
Dine at a World Famous Resturant
Dining in Las Vegas is a complete experience by itself. Famous chefs like Wolfgang Puck, Mario Batali, Emeril Lagasse, and more have popular restaurants for travelers visiting the area. Check out the menus online before you travel and pick one that you would like to try the most. Make sure to get a reservation ahead of time for an enjoyable and smooth dining experience. Recreate the memories at home by recreating your own version of the dishes you tried while visiting Vegas.
Shop to Your Heart’s Content
There are some amazing shops in Vegas, and I’m not talking about the cheap souvenirs either. Take a stroll through Caesar’s Palace and their faux Roman stores, which includes medium to high-end retailers. Check out the listing of stores ahead of your travel, so you know where you’ll be shopping. Any items you pick up during the trip will help you recreate the memories when you sport the fashions or check out the goodies you picked up during your trip.
Spend Time Off the Strip
The strip has so much to offer, it’s easy to visit and never leave the strip during your visit. Plan a day trip to visit attractions that are off the strip. Go on an out of this world adventure to Area 51, check out some of the local food scenes, find an unusual museum, or just take a drive down to LA.
Regardless of the reason for planning your trip be sure to do your research ahead of time to save money and get the most out of your trip.
