Every year for the holidays we love putting movies and television series under the tree for our kids and ourselves. We like stocking up on our favorites during Black Friday sales and gifting them for the holidays. It’s perfect for our kids especially the young kids for keeping movies for travel and more. They are also part of our Christmas Eve Box we love to gift the kids as part of our holiday traditions.

I love a good Christmas movie, it’s one of my favorite parts of the holidays, so when I saw all the great titles available from Universal I knew they would be great for gifting during the holidays. Here’s three titles we think are perfect for gifting during the holidays.
Veggies Tales: The Best Christmas Gift
Bob and Larry receive a letter from a young fan who’s having a difficult holiday season. The Veggies band together to put on a spectacular show to help their young fans and themselves to remember that the promise of Christmas brings comfort and joy in all kinds of circumstances.
This new release is the first Christmas movie from Veggies Tales in the past six years. It includes three new original songs, and it’s a great faith-based program we know we can share with the kids without worrying about whether or not it’s appropriate.
Illumination’s The Grinch
Illumination and Universal Pictures present The Grinch, based on Dr. Seuss’ beloved classic. The Grinch tells the story of a cynical grump who goes on a mission to steal Christmas, only to have his heart changed by a young girl’s generous spirit. Funny, heartwarming and visually stunning, The Grinch is fun for the whole family!
Dr. Suess’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas, has been stealing hearts for a long time. We really enjoyed this remake from Illumination and Universal Pictures. It tells a classic tale in a way the entire family can enjoy. All ages will fall in love with this holiday film. It’s just what you need for a Christmas Eve movie night.

This collection from DreamWorks is a dream for fans of these films. My kids loved all these movies, so getting to add holiday stories to our collection along with the original movies is a huge bonus for us. There are eight mini-movies and the full-length movie Rise of the Guardians to enjoy and you can choose to watch just one or all nine. It’s really up to you how you enjoy this collection.
