Enjoy Your Cocktails This Holiday With A Little Less Guilt
Did you know that alcohol could lead to weight gain? Holiday parties, dinners, and more are all approaching and you’re going to want to find a way to enjoy your cocktails this holiday with a little less guilt. I was sent samples for review from Slim Lizzy’s. Any opinions expressed are my own.
My family always have some kind of cocktail at all our dinners and get together’s. We’re not heavy drinkers bur we do like having a cocktail every now and then. I wanted to try Slim Lizzy’s because they are a lower calorie option that tastes good. I love all the options you have with Slim Lizzy’s, you can enjoy it poured over ice, or as a slushies by crushing up ice mixed with Slim Lizzy’s, and even better you can use it to create great mixed drink options. Use Slim Lizzy’s in place your regular mix and see how it stacks up against what you’ve been using in the past. Another great feature of Slim Lizzy’s is the fact that it doesn’t have any malt. I like this because I’m not a beer drinker so these drinks were very tasty to me. They also removed the carbonation from them so if you don’t drink sodas or other carbonated beverages you can enjoy Slim Lizzy’s.
I preferred mixing my Slim Lizzy’s with other ingredients to make a mixed drink cocktail. I shared some with my sister and she preferred drinking hers over ice. She raved about how much she loved the taste of the drink and that it we better for her waistline than drinking the wine she would usually drink. She’s even shared about it with some of her co-workers. She’s a fan for sure. Slim Lizzy’s comes in two flavor choices Cosmopolitan and Margarita. CRAN APPLE COSMO 56 CALORIES
- 3 oz. Slim Lizzy’s Cosmopolitan
- 1 oz. apple juice
- 1 oz. cranberry juice
- 1 lime wedge
Combine Slim Lizzy’s Cosmo, apple juice and cranberry juice. Squeeze lime wedge on top. Garnish with a lime twist.
