Although I am kinda embarrassed to say that I first discovered this wonderful voice while watching Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, I will say that I am so glad I was tuned in that night. It was in the middle of the episode when they highlighted her song “Maybe” off her album Our Version of Events.
It immediately got my attention. I searched high and low looking for her name so I could find it and after watching the episode for a second time I finally got it. I was hooked from that day. More recently she was on the closing ceremonies for the London Summer Olympics so some people may have heard her voice then. Pick up her album you won’t be disappointed.
