Easy Dinner Options with Manwich
The weather around here has been unseasonably warm, leaving me craving for time outside instead of being in the kitchen. On days when I’m looking for delicious meals for dinner that are quick I usually depend on Manwich. It’s the perfect solution for any night of the week, and my family loves when I use it for dinner.
I grew up in the islands, so I didn’t have my first Sloppy Joe until I was a teenager. I remember the first time my aunt made some for dinner, it was so good. My siblings and I loved it. Once I started college I would make it all the time, since it was affordable, could feed a crowd, and easy to create. Manwich Sloppy Joe Sauce continues to be a favorite for generations of families.
Manwich Sloopy Joe Sauce has three different flavor varieties, the Original Manwich, Bold Manwich, and Thick & Chunky Manwich. Manwich is a hearty sauce with a sweet and tangy taste that has the kid-stopping power to bring your family’s attention back to mealtime and away from everyday distractions, like video games and texting. Another great feature of Manwich is that the sauces contain no meat. They are perfect for sandwiches, pastas, and more. Manwich gives me the opportunity to be creative for dinner, by using their sauce as a base for lots of different dishes. This Manwich Chicken Piccata is super easy to make, and it’s very delicious. My family loves when I make it for dinner, and they always asks for seconds.
Making this dish is so easy. I used chicken thighs and drumsticks. I seasoned and baked them for about an hour until the stick was a little crispy. I then poured one can of Manwich Original and one can of Manwich Thick & Chunky over the chicken and baked covered for 30 minutes. You can serve it warm over rice or noodles.
