This isn’t my first time mentioning reading to my children on my blog and I highly doubt it will be my last. Its one of the things my husband and I always agreed on when it came to parenting our children. Our kids has all kinds of books, classics like Dr. Seuss, Disney books, personalized books, you name it we try to make sure they have a wide variety of books. I’ve written about Daddy Scrubs before when I shared with you about their scrubs for expectant fathers or even veteran fathers. I loved all the different products from this company for a specific reason and that’s because it promotes fathers.
I love my daddy and my children love theirs as well, so knowing we can get high quality products for those dads in our life is a big plus for us. We (meaning my children) love our Daddy Scrubs bag of books. They immediately noticed characters they have come to know and love when they opened the package and was so anxious for story time that night. I was so surprised when their favorite ended up being ‘What Daddy Duck Loves’ and ‘What Daddy Bear Loves’ instead of the Clifford book. They have enjoyed their father reading to them about Daddy Bear going hiking, playing outdoors, fishing, rafting, climbing mountains, skiing and most importantly hugging his baby cub and spending time with him.
There is also ‘The New Dad Survival Guide’ for new dad with tips from other first time fathers. The bag comes with seven books:
- I Love You, Daddy! by Edie Evans
- What Daddy Bear Loves by Paige Nickell
- What Daddy Duck Loves by Paige Nickell
- The Daddy Book by Todd Parr
- Just Me and My Dad by Mercer Mayer
- The New Dad’s Survival Guide by Scott Mactavish
- Clifford’s Day with Dad by Norman Bridwell
Plus you get the I’m the Daddy Trunk Bag and the I’m The Daddy Sunglasses.
Priced at $49.99 its a great gift for new dads, or an even better father’s day gift. I really like these books and how much it promotes fathers. My children have a great father and I like that he can find books and stories to read to them that shows them how much he loves them, while encouraging them to read more and love reading. I plan to hold on to these books and when my sons have their own children they’ll be able to read these books to them and have the memory of their father reading to them.
