Cooper & Kid Out to Prove Dads Are Awesome
As a mom I can honestly say that dads get a bum wrap sometimes. I know in my house, no matter how many times the kids choose me, the one time they choose their father I give them a hard time. LOL. When Cooper & Kid reached out to me about reviewing one of their boxes and adding them to my gift guide, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity. I knew it would be something fun the kids would enjoy and have lots of fun with. I received a Cooper & Kid Box for review. Any opinions expressed are my own.
Cooper & Kid is a quarterly subscription box service with curated items for dads of kids ages 5 to 9 years old. Each kit includes between 6 to 9 activities for dad and the kids to enjoy. Cooper & Kid have done an amazing job at giving dads their spot in the limelight with their Cooper Kit, the quarterly subscription box that provides men with a no-brainer, entertaining way to wow and bond with their kids. Every three months when you get that box filled with themed projects, both dads and kids will find it cool.
I’ve always considered myself a Jill of all trades, and I’ve never thought about how many different roles my husband has in our home. Honestly I wouldn’t be able be a Super Mom without my husband doing what he does in the wings. There are times when he’s Super Dad and with Cooper & Kid, dads get the opportunity to shine and show off their super powers. Gone are the days of just ‘Stay -At-Home Moms,’ I actually know a few dads that are staying at home and holding down the fort with the kids. They are doing all that moms does and they are doing it well. Before now, moms have been the dominant force when it comes to nurturing and engaging the family, but at Cooper & Kid they’ve seen the tides changing and are here to cheer on the modern dad who does it all.
While moms may seem to have an endless array of parenting guidebooks and magazines at their fingertips, dads are left in the dark. Seeing the perfect opportunity to offer men tips and articles geared towards their familial interests, fears, and hopes, Cooper & Kid launched their E-Zine Catch. This online compendium of ongoing published content challenges and enlightens dads while giving them a place to meet other like-minded individuals and air their opinions on man dates, minivans, saving for college, and more.
Interested in getting Cooper & Kid? There have different plan options. You can purchase one quarterly box for $65 plus $13 for shipping and handling, the yearly subscription costs $288 per year – which works out to $59 plus $13 for shipping and handling (billed annually), you also have the option to either purchase a gift card for someone or give the gift of an annual subscription for $312 with includes shipping and handling for four kits.
We received a music themed box for the kids to build with their father. Here’s some photos of the kit, I’ll update the post once they build a few things during winter break.
