I really loved working with the products from COOKINA and Colman’s.  We used them for our annual Memorial Day Weekend Family BBQ.  We visit the same state park each year, we all meet very early and set the grill up to start the grilling early.  All of us volunteer to bring something to eat or drink and we spend the day just relaxing under a shady tree.  This year the COOKINA was a hit and it made our grilling a lot easier.

I loved the packaging for the COOKINA Resuable Grilling Sheet.  It was rolled up neatly in the box and it had a nice silver ring to hold it in place.  The mat rolls out and fit the grill in the park perfectly.  The mat had a nice smooth surface that was great for grilling small pieces of food like chicken wings, shrimp and rib tips.  With this kind of mat you can take your grilling to a new level.  This grill mat would work for grilling breakfast items like bacon, sausage and pancakes.  Cleaning up is a breeze and when you’re done simple wash it off, dry and roll it back up with the ring for use later.  It’s a great product and it would make a great gift for any grilling fanatic.

The Colman’s Mustard wasn’t like the mustard we were use to eating but the adults really enjoyed tying it out for the first time.  My brother in law loved it the most.  I even gave him the jar so he could make ham sandwiches.  This mustard was a little spicy, it reminded me or a chow chow we would have with baked ham when I was a child in Trinidad.  I love the dry mustard powder for recipes.  It works great in a Maryland Crab Cake recipe or any recipe that calls for mustard powder.  Since this is an English mustard I would recommend trying a small amount first to make sure you like the flavor and taste.  I would recommend giving it a try when making ribs either in the sauce or the rub.
