I was excited about the Cinderella remake since I first saw the teaser poster about the upcoming film.  Disney did a live action remake of the film and like other fans I wondered exactly how they were planning on creating this movie to capture our hearts like the animated version.  Knowing it would make a great mommy/daughter date I had plans to take my daughter when it was playing in theaters.

My daughter and I ended up catching it later at the discount cinema.  It worked out great because it wasn’t crowded and she got to enjoy the movie.  We both ended up loving it very much.  It was such a beautiful story and the writing on this live action version was amazing.  It kept all the elements of the animated feature that we loved and added some more elegant touches to make it a spectacular film.

While visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios this past April I had the opportunity see the real carriage they used in the film.  It was stunning.  When I showed my daughter the photo she just loved it.

We received the Disney Cinderella Movie Girls Prestige Cinderella Costume for review from Costume Express.  It was simply stunning.  I can’t believe it’s a costume.  It’s embellished with glitter and the fabric has scenes from the movie printed on the dress.  The costume also includes a choaker and headband to match the dress.  You can also purchase additional pieces on Costume Express, however all you really need to add is the perfect shoes, the right hair and some lip gloss and your little princess will feel super special.  This isn’t the only Cinderella Costume offered on their website however.  They also have a movie edition for both kids and adults.  Check out some of the other selections from Costume Express.
