Celebrating Our Proud Grad
A few months ago I shared a post about a grad in our family. I had the opportunity to shop for a beautiful diploma frame for her as a gift for graduation. We had to wait for her to graduate to gift her the frame and the kids couldn’t wait to surprise their aunt with her new frame and congratulate her on her accomplishments. This post is part of the blogger program by Church Hill Classics and The Motherhood, who compensated me for my time. Opinions, experiences and photos shared here are my own, and I hope you enjoy them.
It’s graduation season and grads all over the country are walking across the stage, shaking hands and picking up their “diplomas”. After the ceremony you celebrate with parties and family dinners and shortly after graduates pick up their official diplomas and then they put them in the cases they sometimes get at graduation. Thats what I did when I graduated from both high school and college. Framing it was never something I thought of and according to a recent survey conducted by The Motherhood 56 percent of respondents never framed their own diploma, so you see I am not alone in this. We didn’t want our proud grad putting her hard earned degree in a case and not displaying it up where it belonged. Church Hill Classics (www.diplomaframe.com) is a professional framing company that helps graduates preserve and showcase those hard-earned diplomas with officially licensed frames. Church Hill Classics offers an extensive selection of custom frame styles for more than 1,500 colleges and universities and I was super excited that our grad’s school was represented.
It was hard keeping this secret until the kids aunt graduated but we were able to keep it a secret and surprise her with an amazing gift. She of course didn’t purchase a frame for her diploma and no one else had brought her one either. She absolutely loved it. Everytime she looked at it she found something new they loved about it even more. She liked that the frame was engraved with her college and the school she received her degree from. It was really a great gift idea and one we knew she’ll cherish for years to come. In ten years when she looks back there may be lots of things she forgets about graduation but she’ll always have her new diploma frame, it’s a very memorable gift.
