Celebrate Divorce with Unknotted Products
A few days ago one of my friends on Facebook announced her divorce. I don’t know her well but I felt for her. I’ve never been divorced and I hope that I never get a divorce but I know quite a few people who have, including my older sister. Back to my Facebook friend that just signed her divorce papers, although I don’t know her very well I want her to feel better. I can’t imagine what she’s going through or now she’s feeling but I did feel like I wanted to do something to make her smile. Some of you may know exactly how she’s feeling because you’ve been there yourself or you may be like me and only know someone who’s been divorced. Regardless of which group you fall into you should be able to relate to me wanting to make her smile.
Dana Lawrence is the founder of The Unknotted: The Next Chapter in Happily Ever After. Lawrence said she’s been working on the company for three years, which launched this February. The Unknotted specializes in gifts and party supplies for those divorcing or leaving a relationship. Their mission is not only to make women going through a divorce smile but also to empower them and let them know that life does not end after a divorce. The Unknotted reached out to me about featuring one of their products on my site. I was sent an item for review.
When my sister got her divorce I was still in high school or just started college. I was too young to fully understand or really know what she was going through. I hadn’t really experienced real love before so I didn’t know how she would be hurting. The most recent post I’ve seen from my friend who just got divorced are painful to read at times. They also leave me wondering what words could I use to make her feel better and in all honesty I don’t think I have any words that would help. I don’t think I could make her feel better at all. The Unknotted is the perfect solution to that feeling.
There products would be a great gift to give or send to a friend who’s going through a divorce or break-up. The wine glass I received had just the right amount of humor to put a smile on their face. Even years after my sister’s divorce I know this wine glass would be the perfect gift for her because it’s funny and she can enjoy a glass or wine when she needs one.
My favorite part about the wine glass was the markers on the back of the glass. It reminded me of those tall shot glasses we had at college parties. The Unknotted Wine Glass is like any other typical wine glass. It’s durable, fun, and sure to be a conversation piece. There’s a sticker at the bottom of the glass that I recommend removing before washing your wine glass. Mines arrived perfectly wrapped to keep it secure during the shipping process, so you can rest assured it will arrive in one piece. The Unknotted Wine Glasses retails for $21.95 each on the site.
If wines not your thing, no problem. The Unknotted also has Pint Size Ice-Cream Holders as well. These are just as cute as the wine glasses and would also make a great gift. The Ice-Cream Pint Holder retails for $15.95 each on The Unknotted. The site also sells party products to help you through your own divorce party or to host one for a friend.
This cake topper would be perfect for unmarried cake or any treat you decide to have to help you celebrate and feel better about starting another chapter in your life. The Just Divorced Cake Topper retails for $17 on The Unknotted.
Divorce can be very difficult and sometimes we don’t know what to say or do to help those we love to feel better. I hope that sharing these items with you maybe gives you a unique gift idea to help someone you know going through a divorce or even someone who’s been divorced for a while.
