We’re gearing up for Spring Break in my neck of the woods and that means getting a whole bunch of movies and activities on deck for the kids so they are busy and enjoying the break when we are at home. I liked this movie because it about fun and exploring. It’s a fun way for the kids to learn about other places and see different animals they wouldn’t see every day. This movie is about one bird’s quest to help a friend get her freedom. Jack the sparrow gets a new colorful coat and he thinks it will make him into the extraordinary bird he’s been dreaming of, plus he now thinks he will impress the bird of his dreams a canary that just escaped from her cage. Soon her owner comes back for the canary and Jack enlists the help of some friends to save her from her mean owner.
The movie has a nice lesson about valuing a person for what’s on the inside and not what’s on the outside. There’s laughs, adventure and friendship. It’s a great movie for young kids and families. We enjoyed watching it as a family for movie night and the kids have even shared it with their cousin to watch as well. It’s really a good movie to add to your collection.
