I will always remember to first time I saw the Disney movie UP. My husband had gotten a recommendation to watch the movie from on of his bosses at work. Yes can you believe that an adult was telling my husband to watch this movie. He did give him a little disclaimer and said that it would make him cry. At the time our kids were younger only two and three I think and when we saw the previews for UP we just didn’t think the kids would get into it at that age but since we got the recommendation we decided to watch it. If you have seen this movie then you know exactly what I mean when I say it’s one of the most beautiful displays of love that I have witnessed and its a cartoon. In under ten minutes it introduces to a spunky girl and the shy boy who become friends and then gets married when they are older. You are taken through their good times and their rough times and three minutes and about fifteen seconds in it hits you and maybe you shed a tear when you see they have suffered a miscarriage. Its so simple because its made for a child but as adult you know what it means and you feel the pain and by the time two more minutes passes you are crying or shedding tears or bawling like a baby depending on your mood. But its sure to touch you deeply. I saw a post today that had a wonderful sketch of the couple from the intro of UP and it made me smile to know that I’m not the only person who thinks it’s a beautiful display of love. So I am sharing with you and I hope you share with others even if you’ve seen it before watch again and if it’s your first time grab a tissue. Enjoy.
