Okay, we’re not suggesting you purchase a blender from the 50’s–for practical reasons. However, picking up glassware or kitchen items is well worth it! If you are trying out something new in the kitchen like making your own pasta or beef jerky, purchasing previously owned or antique machinery is a good idea.

Often, these items are only used a limited amount of times per year and are a waste of money to buy new. So, check out that estate sale or flea market for fun finds like an ice cream maker!

Fashion trends tend to recycle themselves. For instance, colorful bright pieces and boot cut jeans are on trend again, as they were in the early 2000s. With this said, buying vintage clothes will allow you to keep up with fashion trends without saying bye-bye to the pieces a year later having spent a fortune.
