Rustico Leather Foodie Set Review

I love finding products that would end up making great gifts for family and friends, so when I had the opportunity to review some products from Rustico Leather I was super excited, especially since Valentine’s Day was approaching and I was hoping I got something I could gift to hubby for Valentine’s Day as a bonus to what I already had.  I choose the Foodie Set to review because it came with three items I thought would be great to gift to others and I wanted to share that with my readers.  My set included; a Wine Log, a Coaster Set & the Wool Explorer Satchel.  Let me first say I was blow away by the amazing quality of these products they exceeded any expectations I could have.  I’ll share a little about each item and my thoughts with you.

The first thing I’ll talk about is this beautiful Hand Sewn Coaster Set.  It comes in five different color options.  I absolutely love this set and it goes great on our table when we don’t have a table cloth out.  This would make a beautiful hostess gift, wedding gift or housewarming gift.  I love the details in the set and you can see the craftsmanship is excellent.  It’s made of high quality products that are durable and I am sure they are made to last.  When you look at it you can see all the details and care that went into creating it.  The set contains four coasters and there is a leather strap to secure it for storage so they don’t get scattered.  The set is priced for $26.50 and you can even personalize it ($10 per line – 20 characters per line) to make it even more special.

The Wine Log is the second item that I’ll talk about.  It’s a great gift for wine lovers.  I really liked it because the log has so much detail and there’s a special section for you to affix the label from your favorite bottles.  Now you won’t ever have to guess or wonder about that one bottle of wine you loved so much.  You can track just about everything about your bottle from your log.  The place of purchase, price, year and more.  This can be a stand alone gift or given with a nice bottle of wine.  It has a nice soft cover and the craving on the front is another example of the excellent craftsmanship from Rustico that I have noticed with their products.  I also like the pages they used in the log.  They have a rough cut edge and the log is 96 pages long.  The binding is hand sewn.  The Wine Log is priced at $29.75 and it can also be personalized just like the coasters.

 

The last items from my review set is the Wool Explorer Satchel in Grey.  When I saw it I knew that it would make a great gift for hubby and I knew he would love it and I was so right.  This bag could be unisex in my opinion.  The strap is long enough that it fits across me and across hubby perfectly.  It has a flap closure that is secured with a leather strap.  This bag is perfect for fall and winter.  The wool is nice and soft and super easy to clean as well.  It’s a very unique satchel and it would make a great anniversary gift, birthday, Christmas or just because gift.  It’s big enough to hold your wallet, keys, a book or tablet and a few other items.  My hubby uses it to carry his school papers (he teaches).  It would make a great traveling bag as your personal item.  My hubby uses his when he’s going to work so he’s usually casually dressed but you can wear it if you’re just running errands or something like that.  The satchel is priced at $212.50
