Before my kids went off too school I rarely worried about cold and flu season because they were home with me, they didn’t go to daycare and we would only visit with family and friends if they weren’t sick so we kept the kids healthy. Once my daughter started Pre-School it’s been a battle every Fall/Winter dealing with constant cough, colds and the occasional fever. It seems like as soon as she got better she was sick again in days and by the time my oldest son entered school it got worst. They both were constantly bringing home different germs no matter how hard I tried to keep them for catching a buy it seems they would get a “winter cold”. For any parent you want your children healthy but you are also cautious about what medications you give them when they are young. Mines are six, five, two and we have a seven week old newborn. This year was no different than any other year with the cough and colds, so when I saw the Children’s Chestal product on the PTPA website for testing I signed up.
My sample bottle arrived in the mail just in time too because I just tossed out the empty bottle of the previous children’s cold medicine we were using. This saved me from having to buy a bottle and I used it that same night with my kids. The two main things I love about Children’s Chestal is that it’s a homeopathic medicine and the honey flavor tastes good so my kids don’t fuss or fight when it’s time to take their medication. This means they are getting more of the medication instead of it just being spit up all over my hands and clothes. When I gave it to my kids at night it helped them sleep longer with less coughing during the night. It worked better during the night with my kids when they were rested. During the day they were playing and jumping, so the activity made them winded and caused them to cough. When I was using the Children’s Chestal it was the only medication I used and I gave the kids lots of orange juice, within three to four days they were all doing better with coughing and chest congestion. We liked it so much that it’s now going to replace our usual children’s medicine and the first thing I recommend to my friends with children two and older. I’m also not the only parent who thinks that Children’s Chestal is awesome either because they just won the PTPA Seal, so you can buy with confidence.
