Help the BGCA Give the Gift of a Great Future

The holiday season is already in full swing and there isn’t much time left to get everything you may still need done, however there’s always time to take a few seconds and lend a helping hand and I want to share with your some very easy ways you can help the Boys and Girls Club of America celebrate their third annual Give The Gift of Great Future Holiday campaign.  The first and easiest way you can help is head over to their Kids Giving Back Contest and vote for your favorite project of boys and girls giving back to their communities.

You can also head over to their Gift Tag Generator and grab some free gift tags for your gifts if you still need to get some for your gifts.  They also have some great gift giving tips to help you get in giving spirit and help others.  These tips a geared towards building a giving attitude in your children, they talk about reading about giving, volunteering to help others, donating items to those in need and much more.  One of our favorite things to do during the holidays is to have a toy purge with our children.  We pick a Saturday morning and go through all their toy chests and tubs of items they have acquired since last year, we have them determine what’s broken and needs to be tossed, what they want to keep and most importantly we have a pile for donating to our local thrift shop and any unopened items goes to their school’s toy drive.
