There are six miles of trails for hiking and wildlife observation. The only trail allowing for biking and jogging is the Otter Creek Road Trail.
The park is home to the Barbara J. Mapp Aviary Education Center, and there are interpretive canoe floats that are free to visitors from Memorial to Labor Day.
