There isn’t much I remember from the animated version of Dumbo. I know it’s an elephant that can fly. However when we saw that Tim Burton was taking on the film in a live action version, I knew it would be something we could enjoy. We received an advanced copy from our friends at Walt Disney Home Studios to review and it was the perfect film to add to our summer collection.

To celebrate the in-home release of Dumbo you can learn how to juggle. I’m awful at juggling. It’s not something I’ve ever been able to do well, but if it’s something you’ve been considering, check out this awesome activity sheet to learn how.
My Thoughts on the Film
We were pretty excited about Dumbo. It was the kids first time seeing the movie and the live action version was perfect. It was filled with lots of our favorite actors and actresses both older and more current. We loved the circus theme for the summer since it’s a popular time for the circus and carnivals. One of our favorite scenes was watching Dumbo fly. It was so magical and the kids just loved it. I think Dumbo would be a great family film everyone can enjoy. Simply pop some popcorn and serve up some peanuts for a circus feel and enjoy the film.
Pick up your copy of Dumbo at your favorite retailer or order it online and be prepared for a great movie night everyone will enjoy.
