My oldest son recently turned eleven, and while I was anti-planning a party, my husband was all set to plan him the party of the year. We bounced around all sorts of ideas and couldn’t land on one thing we both could agree on. Finally, we decided a small kick back at the house would be perfect for him and a few friends. They could play video games, watch their favorite movies, eat, and be merry like pre-teen boys usually do.

Once we made the plan for the kickback we had to figure out what we were going to do for food, so when QDOBA reached out about trying their catering I knew it would be perfect for his gathering.

My husband and I both love QDOBA but since we were planning an event mainly for pre-teen boys we wanted to make sure they would love their meal. It’s was a super easy choice to pick the hot bar for the boys to make their own burrito bowls.

Ease of Ordering

One of the first ways QDOBA made party planning easy was by making the ordering process super easy. All I did was get on their website to local the catering number for placing my order. Once I was on the phone with the catering specialist the process got even easier. I was registered in the QDOBA catering system first before continuing with my ordering process.

They asked a few questions about my event – date, time, number of guests, and was it for business or personal. Next, we talked about my choices and that was pretty much it. I received a confirmation by email within minutes of me hanging up the phone. QDOBA offers delivery and pick-up of catering orders.

Everything Is Included

QDOBA really wants to make it easy for customers when they ordering catering. That’s why they include all the fixings. My order included chafing stands, steam pans, and fuel that keep food hot and flavorful, as well as a full set of serving utensils, napkins, bowls, and forks. If you return your chafing stands to QDOBA after your event you receive a free entree card.

I liked not having to worry about buying utensils or anything like that for the party. Knowing that all those items were provided added some more stress relief for me in planning this event.

Delicious Food Everyone Loves

There are so many things I can say about our QDOBA catering order, but mainly it’s delicious food that everyone loves. The boys really enjoyed the chips. They were fresh and full of flavor. They ate those the most of everything. When we picked up the order it didn’t look like enough to feed ten people but I was surprised at how far it all went.

The boys loved all the food they got from QDOBA. Not a single person complained about the meal. That’s the quietest they were the entire party. Everything was hot and fresh when we picked it up from the store. Even after sitting for a few hours the food still tasted like it was fresh from the store.

We had tons of toppings for our burrito bowls. They were very generous with some of the toppings. We got two containers of some of the toppings for our bowls, which made everyone happy. I wish we had more rice because it’s so good, that would be the only thing I would change about our order.

Sweet Treats Means No Baking

QDOBA really offers just about everything you need for a stress-free party including sweet treats. Instead of baking a cake or cupcakes for the boys I simply added brownies and cookies on to my catering hot bar. It was so easy to do during the ordering process. Cookies and brownies were just $0.50 a piece, making it a very affordable treat. None of the deserts made it past that evening.

I was very impressed with the catering from QDOBA. It was easy from start to finish and we will be using it again in the future.
