Six Flags America, DC’s Thrill Capital — today announced the start of their 2019 season with opening weekend April 6-7. Guests will enjoy amazing new shows, scrumptious theme park eats and treats, and thrilling rides for Spring Break. The park will be open weekends with a special Spring Break schedule, operating every day from April 13 through 22.
New Rides and Returning Events

The wildly popular Mardi Gras Festival returns weekends, April 27 – May 12, with plenty of New Orleans-inspired Cajun food, colorful drink experiences, raucous street performers, and tossing out tens of thousands of vibrant purple, gold and green beads to lucky guests.
Free Season Passes for Certain Guests
The park originally opened 20 years ago this spring and anyone showing proof of their birthday or marriage date on May 8, 1999 will get a FREE 2019 Season Pass. This special offer is available April 6 through May 12.

Members and Season Pass Holders will get an exclusive head start on the Opening Day fun when the park hosts Pass Holder Preview Night from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5.
