Her colorful My Friend Paris series follows a preschooler as she adjusts to her new role as an older sibling, and travels to various places with her family, including Lake Tahoe, San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. She’s recently released a new holiday title, together with co-author Jackie Singer, My Twins’ First Christmas. My thoughts:This books was perfect for my five year old daughter. Even though she doesn’t have twin siblings she does have two younger brothers so she does know what it’s like to adjust to new siblings. This series is a great way to introduce the idea of new siblings to your children. The book was very easy to read and my daughter had fun reading the words she knew and telling us the story. In this book Paris starts out sharing she felt left out because her twins sisters birthday was coming up. She then decided to help plan the party so she could share the memories with her twins when they got older. She helped her parents out with all the details of the party and was a big help on party day. In the end she felt tired from working but thankful for her sisters. The book has amazing illustrations and since it’s a series you can get other stories to share with your children. I asked my daughter to rate the book and she gave it five fingers because she loved the colors and the story.
