Most people have a dream in their head of the perfect way to spend Valentine’s Day. There’s just the right person to spend it with, at just the right place, with just the right weather, just the right food, and the perfect presents to top it all off.
My dream way to spend Valentine’s Day would have to be multi-faceted because of my children. I would start off by making cards and gift baskets for all three kids. Then I would have brunch with the entire family so we all can enjoy each other. We are their Valentine’s until they are old enough to have their own so we want them to be included. Then I would have hubby drop them off with my younger sisters (they don’t have Valentine’s yet) and have him stay our while I cook him his favorite dinner and make him a strawberry shortcake. I would set the table with flowers and candles and make it super romantic and after dinner we can have a movie marathon and well you get the idea.
While the best part of this holiday is usually just who you spend it with, some of us from the Bloggers Cupcake Cafe have decided to get together and make the present part a little easier on one lucky reader this year.
