My Thoughts:
We’d never heard of SpacePOP before receiving the DVD in the mail to review. My daughter was excited as soon as she opened the envelope and saw it waiting for her to review. I can’t believe we were missing the Youtube series all this time. We mostly have boys, so my daughter and I watched the movie by ourselves. It seemed to be more of a film that girls would enjoy. I really liked all the music in the movie. It was fun but age appropriate for my daughter who’s nine going on ten. It’s filled with lots of colors and had a great story line. I would definitely recommend it for a fun girls night slumber party. You can also catch up with the Youtube series, and see all the episodes online. In addition to the movie and series, you can also check out the dolls if your daughter becomes a huge fan.
Overall I would say SpacePOP: Princess Power is a great movie for girls to enjoy. My daughter loved it a lot. She’s already shared it with her cousins during their recent sleepover and she’s been talking to her friends about the film and series as well.
