Take a Peek Into Beast’s Castle in this Beauty and the Beast Teaser Trailer
The teaser trailer for Beauty and the Beast was just released by Walt Disney Studios, and I’ve been distracted ever since. You see Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie of all time. Belle has always been my favorite princess because she kept her head in a book. I remember the first time seeing her on screen, I felt like she’s my kind of princess. She’s smart, funny, self-less, and compassionate. Just in case you missed the teaser check out this amazing sneak peek that leaves you wanting more.
Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is a live-action re-telling of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs. “Beauty and the Beast” is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.
The film stars: Emma Watson as Belle; Dan Stevens as the Beast; Luke Evans as Gaston, the handsome, but shallow villager who woos Belle; Oscar® winner Kevin Kline as Maurice, Belle’s eccentric, but lovable father; Josh Gad as Lefou, Gaston’s long-suffering aide-de-camp; Golden Globe® nominee Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, the candelabra; Oscar nominee Stanley Tucci as Maestro Cadenza, the harpsichord; Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette, the feather duster; six-time Tony Award® winner Audra McDonald as Madame Garderobe, the wardrobe; Oscar nominee Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, the mantel clock; and two-time Academy Award® winner Emma Thompson as the teapot, Mrs. Potts.
“Beauty and the Beast” will be released in U.S. theaters on March 17, 2017.
I’ll always feel a special connection to Belle no matter how old I am, and a few weeks ago during my first Disney Social Media Moms conference I had the opportunity to meet her at our Mother’s Day Breakfast event. She had the longest line, and I waited about thirty minutes to take my photo with her. As I got closer I started to cry, I felt like I was nine again, and excitement won over. I walked up to her and she complimented me on my dress, invited me to her castle and told me she would let Beast know I was there. I couldn’t stop smiling. It was the most magical moment at the event for me. I can’t wait to see this movie and how they tell this tale as a live action movie. I’ll be the best dressed mom at the theater for sure on March 17th next year.
