Hersheypark 2016 Education Days Schedule
For several days each May, Hersheypark becomes an active laboratory allowing students to make their own personal discoveries and reinforce what they’ve learned in school classrooms. The partnership with Lebanon Valley College (LVC), Annville, PA will provide learning opportunities working with the schools professors and instructors on curriculum and instruction.
Highlights of each day are outlined below:
Friday, April 29 Math Day: Calculate a variety of real-life, real-time equations within the Park using probabilities, percentages, problem-solving, and more. Download the Math Guide online.
Friday, May 6 Physics Day: Hersheypark becomes a giant physics laboratory on this special day! Download the Physics Guide and apply the principles of physics to measure how force, energy, mass, and other concepts keep Hersheypark rides going up and coming down!
Friday, May 13 Science Day – Using a Physical Science Guide, students will be challenged to measure, calculate, experience, and comprehend physical science concepts such as speed, energy, and force.
Friday, May 20 – Business & Marketing Day: Business and marketing experts from Hersheypark will give a presentations discussing a variety of business and marketing disciplines.
Thursday, May 26 – Entertaining Arts Day: A spotlight shines on the award-winning shows at Hersheypark on Entertaining Arts Day!
Friday, May 27 – Health & Wellness Day: Enjoy a day of wellness and physical activity at Hersheypark! Students will start the day with an interactive and educational Health Fair as they work their way through the study guide on nutrition and well-being. Hersheypark is proud to provide opportunities to students that supplement their classroom learning. Nickida
Nickida is a first-generation Trinidadian American wife and mother of four. She enjoys sharing recipes from her childhood growing up in Trinidad with her readers.
