Giant Food Introduces New Internationally Inspired Line
Growing up in Trinidad I had a lot of Indian foods. Our culture was and still is heavily influenced by Indian culture and the foods is one of my favorite things of all time. So much so that My Curry Chicken Recipe is my top post on my blog. When I was contacted by Giant Foods to try out their new line of internationally inspired foods I was up to the challenge. Customers can bring tastes from around the world to their dinner tables in just minutes with the launch of Giant’s brand new World Menu line. These internationally inspired products, including many Italian and Asian favorites, feature quality ingredients and easy preparation to offer a new take on take-out. I was provided a gift card from Giant Food to try the new World Menu line.
When I was trying to decide what items I wanted to try with my family all I could think of was any kind of pasta dish. I eventually settled on Lasagna Rolls. I’ve been wanting to make some for a while so this was the perfect opportunity. I headed to the closest Giant Food Store to pick up some of the items I needed to create dinner that night. At the store customers could find more than 50 World Menu products, including a large assortment in the frozen department. With the World Menu Italian line, you can bring the bold flavors of Italy home with a trip to your local Giant. Starting with classic pastas, cheeses and herbs—all imported straight from Italy— the products feature fresh, peak quality ingredients like broccoli rabe, spicy red peppers and wild forest mushrooms. Products include a variety of frozen pastas, eggplant parmiggiana, broccoli rabe risotto and spicy arrabbiata, among others.
As you can see they have a nice selection of items for customers to choose from. If you are busy and looking for quick dinner options then check out their frozen meals. They have lots of affordable options for the entire family. Take out will never be the safe again with their Asian inspired menu. They even have pot stickers and egg rolls to make you whole experience complete. For cooks like myself who prefer just few spices and sauces to take your dishes to another level then Worl Menu is the perfect addition. Like for our dinner. To make the Lasagna Rolls I used spices and sauce from the World Menu line to add more flavor and authenticity to our meal.
I didn’t get the best picture but it was a delicious meal. I simply used lasagna noodles, spread some cheese on it, followed by the ground beef, I also put some sauteed spinach and rolled it. I poured a jar of World Menu sauce on top and sprinkled shredded cheese on top, baked in the oven and that was it. A simple dish that was large enough to feed our family of six for two days.
