Pura D’or Hair & Skin Care Products Review

Now that I have natural hair I have to make sure the products I use are safe and healthy for my hair.  Transitioning from relaxed hair to natural is a delicate process and not using the right products can cause more damage to my hair.  I’ve been reading a lot about Argan Oil products and the benefits it has for hair care.  I received product samples for review from Pura D’or and Brandbacker for review.  Any opinions expressed are my own.

Transitioning from relaxed to natural hair is a very tricky process and sometimes my relaxed hair is still weak and brittle. I immediately noticed less hair loss when using this shampoo compared to other products I’d use in the past. Another great feature for me was the aroma of the shampoo, I loved how it left my hair smelling. I’ve been using a professional grade shampoo to help with dry scalp and it smells like black licorice. Pura D’or Argan Oil Premium Organic Conditioner, Lavender and Vanilla scent is the prefect companion to the shampoo.  When ever I use a product for the first time I tend to use a lot, just to see how it works.  With the Pura D’or conditioner a little goes a very long way.  I used more than I needed the first time but once I realized how well it worked I used less conditioner the second time I used it.  The conditioner helped soften my hair and make it easily manageable after I washed it.  My hair wasn’t bushy and extra frizzy.  Using both products also helped me with dry scalp.  My husband commented how much he loved the smell of my hair after my hair appointment and even my professional hair stylist gave it the seal of approval.  She loved that it was free of harsh chemicals and this conditioner is 99% plant based.  When she saw the results on my hair she was quite impressed.  The conditioner retails for $28 and also has a few reviews on Amazon.  I suggest getting the shampoo and conditioner to use together as a pair.

Pura D’or Argan Oil is great for your hair, body, face and nails.  I usually use mines on my scalp and on my dry winter hands but you can use it for so much more.  Pura D’or cold presses their Argan Oil and it’s imported from South West Morocco.  The oil is free of added chemicals and its safe for all hair, skin and nails type.  This is great for me because I can use it on my daughter’s hair and not have to worry about it having any kind of effect at all.  She has very sensitive skin and we have to be careful what we use on her hair and skin.  She was able to use the Pura D’or Argan Oil on her skin and scalp safely without any issues or irritation.  There are lots of great uses for Argan Oil including:
