Growing up in the islands I would say that I have used some very odd stuff in my childhood. I’ve had goat milk before and I know you could use it for other things but I never heard of using it in soap. When I came across a Goat Milk Stuff review I knew I wanted to give it a try for one main reason – Eczema. My husband and two of my kids have issues with eczema and I have some issues with dry skin in the winter. My experience with this company has been great. They are a family ran business and they are very personal. From my initial contact all the way through to product shipment they were super helpful and always kept me up to date. I got emails when I placed my order, letting me know my order was ready for shipment, one when it actually shipped and one letting me the expected arrival date of my package.
I chose the Cranberry half bar because I loved the color of the bar. Plus with it being so close to the holidays I figured a seasonal item would be perfect. I also chose a Tea Tree half bar mainly because of all the benefits I read about tea tree oil for your dry skin problems. I got a Honeysuckle full size bar and a honey lip balm. I couldn’t wait to receive my package in the mail to review. As soon as I picked up the box I could smell all the wonderful scents. I opened the package and I knew I would love using this wonderful soap. The first one I used that same night was the Tea Tree half bar. I actually tried it on our toddler first and it left his skin soft and smooth. I loved that it didn’t irate his skin and I have already replaced his baby soap with the goat milk soap.
When I tried it I could immediately notice how refreshing it was. There are no chemicals or harsh irritants. It doesn’t have a huge amount of suds but I knew I was getting clean, I could see the soap washing off all the dirt and grease off my skin. I didn’t realize until I stated using Goat Milk Soap that my shower gel was all suds and did little to get my skin clean. I also noticed that unlike other bar soaps the Goat Milk Soap didn’t have soap residue or left my skin feeling slimy from soap scum. I am now a huge fan of Goat Milk Soap and plan to start replacing my other soaps with these soaps.
