Simple Table Decor with Van Gogh Vodka
With small children in my house I haven’t started doing large tablescapes in our home for the holidays. Usually for our Family Love Dinner I would do a whole big layout and remove it the next day. Our toddler touches a lot so he would usually clean the table clean if I didn’t remove the items once we are done with dinner. This is a Holiday Gift Guide post brought to you by Van Gogh Vodka. I received samples for inclusion in my gift guide, any opinions expressed are my own.
When you think of Vodka I know the last thing you’re probably thinking about is art of any kind. I also know the furthest thing from your mind is using it for decor in your holiday plans. Don’t get me wrong, sure you can and will want to use your Van Gogh Vodka in your holiday cocktails and all your celebrations but you can use it for something simple and easy. One of the first things that I was drawn to with Van Gogh Vodka were the paintings on the bottles. They can stand out as pieces of art all by themselves. Perfect for use as deco art pieces in any bar at home or a business. Each bottle features a miniature Van Gogh painting, they are bright, bold and beautiful. Van Gogh is my favorite artist so I just fell in love with these bottles. I received two bottle of Van Gogh Vodka to include in my guide and use as inspiration for the holidays. I used my bottles as the centerpiece for our table instead of flowers. You could also create a mini bar in your house or check out Pinterest for fun ideas. About Van Gogh Vodka:
Van Gogh Vodka is produced by the Royal Dirkzwager Distilleries (which received a Royal Appointment from Queen Beatrix in 2005) at the Cooymans Distillery in Tilburg, The Netherlands. Here, second-generation Master Distiller Tim Vos handcrafts the vodka through a proprietary double-infusion method, using only the finest ingredients and premium grain alcohol to create Van Gogh’s signature bold flavors and smooth taste.
Introduced in 2006 this was the first pomegranate vodka created— Sophisticated and lightly sweet with a touch of tart acidity reminiscent of cranberries and a vivid pomegranate color.
TASTING NOTES From Van Gogh Master Distiller, Tim Vos
The taste for our pomegranates comes from Spain. It is a balance of sweet and bitter, just like the fruit. The bitterness comes from the antioxidants, but it is this same tartness that adds to the complexity of the vodka. A number of different fruits such as strawberry, cranberry and orange also support the intense pomegranate flavor and help round out the texture and body.

TASTING NOTES From Van Gogh Master Distiller, Tim Vos
Our Rich Dark Chocolate Vodka displays an intense chocolate fragrance with hints of coffee, nutmeg and spice. In the mouth, the complex, dark cocoa taste is beautifully complemented by notes of coffee, chili pepper, caramel, and exotic spice giving this sophisticated vodka layers of complexity, and a slightly spicy finish that will linger on the tongue.
