Save on Audio Book Rentals with Downpour
The holiday season is in full swing and lots of people are getting on the road to travel. Whether you’re flying, driving or taking a train or bus, you’re probably looking for ways to entertain yourself on the road traveling. If you listen to Audio Books or even if you haven’t, you should check out Downpour. They recently launched a new audio book rental portion to their website. I had the opportunity to review their audio book rental service and it’s been so easy to use.
Getting started was so simple and easy to do. When you get on the Downpour website, you sign up for an account. Also make sure you remember to download the app so you can listen to your books. The app is available in both the iTunes and Android app markets. After signing up I noticed a monthly membership was automatically added to my cart. To continue I just removed it and clicked on rentals. Downpour has over 8000 audio books available for rental, I did find it a little difficult to narrow down, I would recommend trying a search of authors or books you like to make it easier to sort through. They range in genre and prices but overall they are much more affordable than purchasing audio books. Rentals are valid for 30 days and longer books have 60 day rentals. Your rental clock start once your starting listening to the first file in your book rental or 10 days after your rented the book, which ever comes first. When you are done listening to your rental Downpour gives you the option to listen to it again (as many time within the rental period) or to delete the audio book to free up space on your mobile device. I found the whole process so easy from start to finish. I was listening to my audio book in under five minutes from start to finish. You’ll love how easy it is to use.
