We live in a time where we have to stay connected at all times.  Leaving your cell phone home is like leaving an arm at home and the effort to remain connected at all times has lead to the need for chargers you can take on the go.  I was send a RAVPower RP-PB08 Luster 3000mAh External Battery to review and share my thoughts with you.

I can’t say that I am a huge techie but I love being current with all the latest gadgets.  I remember traveling for my first even blogger press trip with Disney and I took my portable charger so I could always have battery power on the go.  I made sure it was charged fulled over night and when I woke up the next morning and did a test run. The charger has died.  It would work with my new charging cable for my iPhone 5c.  I hated it because I was limited on power so I had to make sure I conserved my power.  When I gt home I wanted to make sure I didn’t have to go without a charge again.  I got the RAVPower RP-PB08 Luster 3000mAh External Battery in Gold to review and all I can say is good things about this portable charger.  Some of my favorite features of this charger:

• It’s very small and portable.  It’s like a little lipstick so I can take it with me when I have a small clutch or when I have a huge purse.
• It doesn’t take long to charger up.  My previous charger took a whole day to fully charge.
• It holds power for a long time.  After charging it held power for at least three weeks when not in use.  My other charger would die within a week.
• Standard USB output, compatible with any mobile devices with DC 5V input.
• Has a lot of charging power.  It can give you an extra 5 hours of charging time on your iPhone.  I was able to fully charge my iPhone and iPad and the charger still had power.
• There’s a bright flash light as a bonus.  I have used mines to look under the bed, find things in the dark and light up my purse.
• It comes in five different colors: gold, silver, black, pink, and blue.
