WubbaNub Review
The first time I saw a WubbaNub it was on Instagram. One of my new blogger friends had one for her newborn and I was instantly jealous. I wanted one for my son. It was so cute and adorable. Shortly after I received a WubbaNub to review with my baby celebrity (he is to us) and I couldn’t be more excited and happy. I really love these for two reasons. They come with the soothie pacifier like the one we got from the hospital and they are attached to a stuffed animal.
My son immediately took to his WubbaNub and I think it’s because it uses the same pacifier that he was already used to since he was a few days old. I can’t tell you how much I have loved using this with my son. He loves holding the little plush lion when he restless and fighting sleep, it really does wonders with getting him to sleep. In my excitement to review this product I broke a cardinal rule in parenting and that is “Get Doubles”. I can’t stress enough how important it is to make sure you have doubles of things your children love and things you know that work for them. My son really loved his WubbaNub, I loved how quickly he would fall asleep when I gave it to him and it really helped when I was ready to start sleep training. I made sure I kept his WubbaNub in the crib storage so I knew where it was at all times and sadly when we took him for shots recently I took it to help him calm down after his shots and it didn’t make it back home. I’m not sure where it was lost but I can’t find it in the house at all. I literally cried when I couldn’t find it. Trust me I really did because it works that well. I’ve been singing it’s praises to all my pregnant and new mom friends for weeks.
He still has his pacifier from the hospital which I use with him now but I really miss his WubbaNub, we’ll be replacing it soon. I’ve recommend this pacifier to tons of friends and family members since we started using it with our son and I’ll continue to swear by it. It’s such a great product. The mom who invented this product was a genius. Just by adding the plush she took a regular pacifier to a whole new level. Since it’s not just the small pacifier it makes it easier for baby to keep the pacifier in their mouth and if it falls out my son was able to push his back into his mouth. It was also easy to find when it would slip out if he was in his lounger, crib or car seat. The plush is nice and soft and cuddly for baby.
