Four unexpected letters. Four intrepid women. Four lives changed forever.
Spanning a century and a continent, these romantic novellas will lead you on a journey through the landscape of love. Four young women find their lives altered after each receives a letter that sets her on a new path. A Saving Grace by Jane Kirkpatrick
Grace Hathaway must rescue a dear friend from a remote and notorious clinic that promises healing but delivers only heartache. In a place laced with deceit, where lives hang in the balance, whom can she trust to help her?
I really enjoyed reading this book of novella. I got to enjoy four new authors and four wonderful stories. I really enjoyed getting to know Camilla and her adventures on the steamboat with her captain. Who doesn’t love a good romance and a good scandal all at once. While on the run to protect herself from a false accusation she finds herself on this unexpected journey. Oh and I found it fun to take a look back into Merrie’s life and see how life could be for women in this era. I really enjoyed One Little Word because of how well it described the details and work involving creating a carousel. It’s a very nice story and I really enjoyed the character’s romance. The final story is the book is a bit different as we visit a remote hospital and while the setting is not romantic as the others it’s a great story as well because we get to enjoy some mystery and a bit of crazy.
I love happy endings and I think that’s what ultimately drew me in with these novellas and if you are like me you will love these stories. Author Jane Kirkpatrick is hosting a giveaway on her blog for the novel. Hurry though because it’s ending tomorrow.
