5 Hour Energy Drink Recipe and Giveaway

As a mom of four some days I just don’t have the energy to go on.  I’m in need of a nap by noon, by dinner time I am exhausted.  Maybe you’re not a mom, but you do struggle with your energy, or you occasionally use energy shots for a pick me up to get you through a project or the final leg or a trip.   Whatever the reason, the next time you’re thinking of an energy drink, think 5-hour Energy and check out their Yummification Contesst.  You could win up to $50,000 in cash.  I was provided a gift pack from the makers of 5-hour Energy to create my own Yummicication Recipe to share with you.

So I received ten samples in the mail and I had to come up with a recipe to make 5-hour Energy yummy.  I was thinking about all the different things I could mix up for something yummy.  I wasn’t sure what I wanted to make and then I looking in the fridge one day it just hit me.  Power Shot Pomegranate Lemonade.  It’s a very easy drink to make.

Here’s the recipe:

8 oz Pomegranate Lemonade

1 bottle  of Pomegranate 5-hour Energy

In a large glass mix the 8 oz of Pomegranate Lemonade with the bottle of Pomegranate 5-hour Energy.  Stir for about 30 seconds, pour over ice and enjoy.
