Holiday Cookies from Stauffer’s
Living in Baltimore we have quite a few local companies that creates all kinds of snacks and treats. During the holiday season we had the opportunity to try out Stauffer’s Holiday Cookies and it was a huge hit in our house. Thanks to Stauffer’s for sending us their holiday life for review, any opinions expressed are my own.
Stauffer’s the York, Pennsylvania based company is known for their animal crackers, has been producing products since 1871. The company produces over 250 tons of animal crackers, cookies, and snacks. Stauffer’s offers a variety of seasonal products, too, for Halloween and Christmas. Halloween Boo Bags feature Shortbread Cookies in Halloween shapes coated with orange and black sugar crystals. For the holidays, enjoy real Chocolate Stars, Gingerbread Men, White Fudge Holiday Cookies and our Holiday Shortbread Cookies and Peppermint White Fudge Candy Cane Cookies.
The animal crackers were packed in small, holiday decorated boxes, that are perfect for gift giving. Just pop them into stockings and they are ready for go. Also in a gift giving box were the candy cake cookies. These white chocolate with peppermint chips shortbread cookies shaped like candy canes were full of holiday charm and delight. I really enjoyed these the most.
The chocolate covered stars were a big hit, so much so by the time I took a photograph of our goodies the box of milk chocolate covered stars with non perils were already devoured by the kids. I think those were a big hit with them. I just loved the mint chocolate stars and my mom and older sister were fan of the dark chocolate stars.
Other holiday favorites in our box were the gingerbread cookies, holiday shortbread cookies and the white fudge shortbread cookies. All were big hits with the kids. My husband’s favorite was the holiday shortbread cookies. He couldn’t stop eating them from the bag. They were bite sized pieces of heaven on earth, that melt in your mouth, leaving you wanting more. Be careful with this bag of goodies because you’ll eat it all in one setting.
