It’s been a whirlwind past few days and I was super excited about walking my third ‘red carpet’ this year for the Ralph Breaks the Internet premiere. When the invite arrived in my inbox I was beyond excited, but that soon turned into worry about what to wear on my big night. When the Disney Princesses were mentioned in our group, we all thought it would be a great idea to walk the carpet in looks inspired by our favorite princesses. So the hunt was on to find the perfect look.
Our Carriage (Passanger Bus) Awaits
Each event we all get dressed up and gather in the hotel lobby to await our ride to the premiere. This event was no exception. I couldn’t wait to gather around the lobby and see how some of the other ladies pulled together their looks.
We arrive at the blue carpet and it’s a mad dash to get the perfect photo. If you ever attend a premiere here’s my red carpet tip. WALK SLOWLY! There’s tons to see and take in one the carpet including all the amazing people attending. Sometimes we get a peek at the celebrities attending the event before they are inside.
Despite the crowd on the carpet, I get to snap lots of photos with the other ladies on the trip. I buddy up with Ari of Love, Peace, and Tiny Feet for the night and we nap photos of each other throughout the night.
Popcorn, Snacks, and Movie Time
The premiere is held at the famous El Capitan Theatre, it’s amazing to look up and see the sign at every premiere. This time it’s for Ralph Breaks the Internet. We go inside after sending out our last posts, because we won’t be able to use our phone until the movie ends. I’ll be sharing my review of the film next week, however I already tweeted out my reactions to the film.
After the movie we head to the after party and since the carpet was empty we stopped and took lots of great photographs.
How Many Disney Princess Can You Guess?
It was so much fun dressing like my favorite Disney Princess on the red carpet and it was even more fun that so many of the bloggers were also up to the challenge. We interviewed Pamela Robin, who is co-writer of Ralph Breaks the Internet. She’s awesome and be sure to come back and read more about our chat with her. She was also the voice of Snow White in the film. So she was super excited to grab a photo with us on the red carpet.
It Wouldn’t Be the Same Without My Friends
A big part of the red carpet is getting to spend the time and experience it with great friends. I’m so glad I got to hand out with all these lovely ladies that night.
After Party Anyone?
The after party was so much fun. We ate, had some fun in the photo booth, met Ralph and his BFF Vanellope, and hang out with lots of princesses. I was a little disappointed that I didn’t get a photo with Paige O’Hara, the voice of Belle. I stood around her for over an hour hoping she would see me and be excited to take a photo and I was too chicken or maybe I was fangirling too much to ask.
