Tiny Bear’s Bible Review

January 14, 2016 By Nickida

Tiny Bear’s Bible Review

Introducing my children to the word of God is very important, that’s why I love children’s books that make it easy for them to understand about religion and God.  I received a copy of Tiny Bear’s Bible for review from BookLook Bloggers, any opinions expressed are my own.

240_360_Book.1483.cover_Tiny Bear’s Bible is a WARM, FRIENDLY, FURRY Bible for preschoolers with an irresistible message: GOD LOVES his children.

An adorable story Bible for kids 6 and under written by bestselling author Sally Lloyd-Jones. Tiny Bear’s Bible is a warm, fuzzy reminder of how God loves his children – in a format that kids can cuddle. Together with their friend Tiny Bear, children discover eleven Bible stories in a book they can carry with them wherever they go. The closing story leaves us with this loving reminder: “No matter what, no matter where, God is with us, Tiny Bear.” Sally Lloyd-Jones presents some of the most familiar Bible stories to children, which provides parents and grandparents lots of teachable, cuddly moments as they explore God’s love together.

About the Illustrator

Igor Oleynikov has been drawing since early childhood. He grew up in Lubertsy, Russia, a satellite town of Moscow where he lived with his mother, a carpet designer, and his father, an engineer. Oleynikov has illustrated more than 25 children’s books from publishers around the world. He now lives Moscow with his wife and is a proud father and grandfather.

My Thoughts

This book is very cute and fluffy.  I was surprised that they actually made it like a bear.  It’s cute and fuzzy, making it a great books for toddlers.  My sons absolutely loved this book because it was so cuddly.  The illustrations were amazing, making the book even better.  I loved that it told great stories of the bible but in a way that was simple for kids.  The actual bear is a cover for the book that can be removed.  The book is a standard board book so the pages are durable and strong.  The outer cover comes in a version for a girl and one for a boy.

We just loved the book and it was great for reading to the younger kids at night.  Short stories with amazing illustrations and a cuddly cover.
